Slow starts
Mornings here keep the same shape — coffee carried out to the deck, the bay flat as glass, a breakfast decision that takes an hour and matters to no one. The seagrape trees hold the shade until well past noon.
The long swim
Bloody Bay is calm, clear, and shallow a long way out, with Booby Cay sitting just offshore. Swim toward the island in the morning and float back with the sun. It's the kind of swimming you stop measuring in distance.
Evenings without a plan
Dinner might be grilled fish from up the beach, eaten with your feet in the sand, or something simple from the kitchen while the sky softens over the bay. Whole evenings pass without anyone reaching for the car keys.

The neighborhood
Where you are
Bloody Bay is Negril's northern curve — rounder, calmer, and quieter than Seven Mile Beach, with Booby Cay moored just offshore. The famous stretch and its beach bars are a few minutes south along Norman Manley Boulevard when you want them; most guests find they mostly don't. The fruit stands at Orange Bay are on the way into town, and nowhere in Negril is more than fifteen minutes from your deck.
